Barroux

Author and Illustrator

Barroux was born in Paris and grew up in North Africa. After studying at the Ecole Etienne and Ecole Boule he has worked in France, Canada and the USA and has an international reputation for his children's book illustrations

Hollis Kurman

Author

Hollis is a poet and a children’s writer. Her début picture book, ’Hello! A Counting Book of Kindnesses’ was illustrated by Barroux and will be published in eight countries in 2020, with an endorsement by Amnesty International. In addition to her writing, she is member of the Supervisory Boards of Save the Children NL and the Fulbright Commission NL; founder of the Human Rights Watch NL Committee and member of HRW Women’s Rights Global Advisory Council; and Chairperson of the Ivy Circle Netherlands. She was born in New York and lives in Amsterdam.
