'Big Green Crocodile' on the CLiPPA shortlist
Jane Newberry's original collection of 'say and play' rhymes, illustrated by Carolina Rabei, is one of the shortlisted titles for this year's CLiPPA Award, the only prize specifically for children's poetry. The judges describe it as "a beatifully presented and perfectly illustrated collection of new nursery rhymes, which is perfect for parents, guardians or older kids to share with the bvery youngest to spark a lifelong love of poetry'. The winnnner of the Award will be announced at the Cheltenham Literary Festival, on October 12th.
